I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that we have worked with through an exceedingly difficult year. Our school programs were hit very hard with restriction placed on them in April through to June. All the schools assisted to keep momentum and many employers provided work placement when this was allowed. Our team managed to engage the school’s programs in e-learning to cover this period.
Everyone that came through our doors, did the right thing, social distancing, good hygiene, participating in temperature checks with some re-scheduling due to classroom limits.
Our host employers were on the front line, day in and day out and as a result are in a strong position to boost the economy in 2021, with the help of many incentives from state and federal government and the Construction Training Fund.
Whether you have been on one of our try-a-trade programs, schools’ programs, pre-apprenticeships, apprenticeship, or advanced training programs, thank you for your support!
To all our school coordinators, work experience hosts and our Apprentice Employment and Labour Force employers, thank you. And last but not least, a big thank you to the amazing MPA Skills’ Staff who have never failed to impress me with how you have coped with the challenges COVID-19 has thrown up.
